Renato Ratier is a one of a kind artist that needs to create to be satisfied. He’s one of South America’s most important people when it comes to the electronic music and pioneered the country’s first ever big parties. He then went on to found the internationally acclaimed club D-Edge, in Sao Paulo, where he is also a resident DJ and it has grown to become one of the world’s leading clubs and agencies. Renato’s an esteemed DJ that tours the globe taking his boundary nudging sets of house, disco and techno to clubs and festivals across the world, and Ibiza.

Renato believes what makes a good DJ is a junction of technical research, dancefloor feeling and knowing how to be charismatic. Truly doing it with passion and love, and to put energy above all. This is all reflected in his dynamic and high-powered sets. As well as being a renowned DJ, Renato is also a prolific producer. In 2007 he made a mix compilation for Gigolo Records. So far his releases are, ‘Soul Machine’ on D-Edge records, ‘True Light’ on Light My Fire, and ‘21’ on Warung Records. He also recently released ‘My Women’ on Radiola records and ‘Folker’ and ‘Homeboy EP’ on D-Edge records. Also the Oriental inspired album ‘Black Belt’ is soon to come out on D-Edge.

Needless to say we’re delighted to welcome Renato onto our panel of experts, and with such an impressive list of achievements already added to his works, it’s going to be exciting to see what he brings to the Emerging Ibiza experience.
