After almost 2 year’s in the making, House DJ and producer Dave Lubin launches Mental Genius Recordings, just one arm of the lifestyle brand that incorporates music, fashion, film and art collectives.

Mental Genius Recordings introduce themselves with their debut release “This is Mental Genius” reaching No.5 as the highest new entry on the US house music buzz charts, it received support from the likes of Richie Hawtin, Paul Oakenfold, Marco Carola, Stacey Pullen and Roger Sanchez to name but a few.

Expect forthcoming releases from the likes of Tom Crane, Claudia Lovisa, This is a Recording, Jason Bye, Clara da Costa, Ken Fan, Andy Baxter, Quintin Christian, and none other than acclaimed drum n bass producer Wickaman, who has recently partnered up with Lubin as production duo ‘Criminal’.

Specializing in Soul and Hip Hop influenced House music,
Mental Genius will deliver a fresh collection of EP’s that will conjure and recapture vibes reminiscent of Paradise Garage, The Loft, Hacienda, Sound Factory and Ministry of sound c.1995
