Ben Turner is one of the International Music Summit partners who along with Pete Tong, Danny Whittle, Mark Nettoand and Simeon Friend, is about to run the seminar for its 6th year in Ibiza. Originally from Oxford and heavily involved in magazine publishing of now defunct titles such as ‘Muzik’ magazine in the UK he has strong connections with Ibiza through both IMS and being at the editorial helm of ‘Pacha Magazine.”
A director of his own multimedia/music management company “Graphite” which has created a number of synch deals for music artists such as Richie Hawtin and Robortom feat Au Revoir Simone his background is also heavily seeped in TV production and direction. Infamously, he was the director behind Sasha and Digweed‘s crossover documentary of touring America “Delta Heavy”. But that’s not where it all stops. Turner is also a director of Rob Da Bank‘s “Bestival” and “Camp Bestival” festivals, Callum Fegus’s emerging youth marketing brand “Let’s Go Crazy” and vice chair of the Association of Independent Festivals.
All in all he appears to be a bit of a powerhouse, and we’re sure Ben will be a key driving force in the establishment of Emerging Ibiza.
